Patty has been on the Chrysalis Society Board since 2008. She is currently the Vice-Chairperson of the Strategic Planning & External Relations (SPER) Committee. Patty sits as the Chair for the Board of Referees for Employment Insurance and as a public member on the St. Albert Economic Development Advisory Council. She has also served as a board member with the Kids Kottage for ten years and has recently joined the St. Albert Rotary. Patty has two children and lives in St. Albert.back |
| |  | Mary Pat Barry, Foundation Board Chairperson
Mary Pat joined the Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board in 2007. She became the Foundation Board Vice-President in June 2008 and was appointed the Foundation Board Chair in 2009. Mary Pat is the Branch Manager of Communications for the City of Edmonton. She leads a team committed to building and maintaining Edmonton's reputation as one of Canada's premier cities. Mary Pat has a background as a corporate storyteller and sees story telling as a way to enhance understanding, inspire action and create transformative change. She believes in the richness of the human spirit and the positive impact each and every individual has in creating the type of community we desire and share. back |
| |  | Robert Baldauf (Edmonton) Robert joined the Chrysalis Society Board in 2009. Robert has over twenty years leadership and management experience in creating and delivering strategic, operational, governance, business process and information systems projects. He works primarily as a facilitator and project manager in creating improved business structures and integrating performance leading practices while leading change through effective and efficient operational processes. He has a strong and proven background in program leadership for business strategies, with a particular focus in community-based and not-for-profit initiatives. back |

Chrysalis Society Board member since 2004 and currently Vice-Chairperson of the Program Committee. Lois works with the Calgary Health Region. She is a Community Care Coordinator with Home Care and the Chronic Disease Management Program. Lois graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. She is particularly interested in continuing to provide quality individualized programming for clients. Lois is married with two children. Her daughter has been a Chrysalis client for the past number of years. back |

Chrysalis Society Board member since 2008. Andrew is a lawyer specializing in corporate and commercial matters for energy companies and energy services companies. Andrew plays soccer, enjoys writing and is training for his first marathon. Most of his free time is spent raising his children. back |
| |  | Lorri Martin (Edmonton)
Lorri joined the Chrysalis Society Board in 2009 and was formerly a member of the Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board in 2008. Lorri is a PhD candidate in the Department of Experimental Oncology at the Cross Cancer Institute, where she conducts bone marrow cancer research. She has been a member of the Animal Care Committee at the Cross, and a student representative of the Faculty of Experimental Oncology. Lorri has been a volunteer with the YMCA and community associations for several years. She enjoys many outdoor activities. Lorri, and husband Brian, have two teenage sons. back |

| Brent Rathgeber (Edmonton)
Chrysalis Society Board member since 2005. On October 14, 2008, Brent was elected as the Member of Parliament for Edmonton St. Albert. Brent was formerly MLA for Edmonton-Calder in 2001. Brent was also appointed Queen's Counsel in 2001. Brent attended the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated with a B.A. in Public Administration in 1986 and Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1990 In his spare time, Brent enjoys sports, fitness, music, reading and writing. back |

| Cynthia Hyslop (Edmonton)
Cynthia joined the Chrysalis Society Board in 2005. Cynthia is currently the Vice-Chairperson of the Business Development Committee. She served as the Chrysalis Society Board Chairperson for the 2009-10 fiscal year. Cynthia is a partner in an Edmonton based retail store, specializing in the sale of yarn, fibre and tools for fibre artists. Cynthia teaches workshops, manages a number of websites and is developing a line of hand painted and handspun yarns. Cynthia also brings to the Chrysalis Society Board her experience in senior management, human resource development, adult education and board governance and development. back |

Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board member since 2006. Ray was named Foundation Vice-Chairperson in 2009. Ray is married with two sons, one who is severely disabled physically and mentally and attends Chrysalis in Calgary. He is from Montreal, Quebec; he lived in Toronto for 8 years, and moved to Calgary 25 years ago. Ray worked for Canada Metal, a secondary lead smelter, for 28 years in Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary. He started as lab technician, to foreman, supervisor and plant manager. Ray attended various education institutions for related courses in the metal industry. He graduated from Mount Royal College in marketing. back |

Mavis joined the Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board in 2009. Mavis has been on a credit union since 1976, and has been a member of the executive committee, chair of audit and finance, a member of the policy committee, nominating committee, search committee and other various sub committees. Mavis retired in 2003 and includes bridge, walking, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren as her hobbies. back |

Dru has been a Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board member since 2006 and Secretary since June 2007. Dru is married with two boys and lives in Calgary. He has spent many years supporting the voluntary sector through employment and voluntary roles. He was a member of the Wild Rose Foundation Board of Directors and has worked in many Alberta communities at the municipal and provincial government level. back |

Melanie joined the Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board in 2009. Melanie is highly involved in the Edmonton community and currently runs a management company. She is involved with a number of worthy causes, including the recent UNICEF Unite for Children Gala supporting Malawi; the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation; the City of Edmonton's Next Gen committee; as well as the Light it Up campaign of the Art Gallery of Alberta. She serves as the vice-president of the Works International Visual Arts Society; she sits on the luncheon committee of Changing Together: A Centre for Immigrant Women; and finally she is past president of the Junior League of Edmonton. Melanie and her husband Thomas have a four-year-old daughter Natalie. back |

Sandy joined the Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board in 2009. She has been practicing as a Pharmacy Technician since 2004. She currently works in the pharmacy in the Village Landing Save-On-Foods in St. Albert. Sandy is no stranger to the disabilities sector as she has been volunteering with Edmonton Special Olympics for years. Sandy loves the outdoors and feels it's most important to spend quality time with her family and close friends. back |
| |  | Krista Mitton (Edmonton) Krista joined the Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board in April 2010. Krista works for the Ministry of Seniors and Community support as an AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped) Generalist where she helps individuals with accessing community and government recourses, funding options, and emergency situations. Krista also works part time in the community as an aid with autistic children. Krista is actively involved at her work and currently is the chair of the Edmonton AISH Social Committee and Green Team. Krista was born and raised in Ontario and moved to Edmonton 4 years ago for a great job opportunity working with individuals with various disabilities/abilities. Krista has volunteered in the disability field since the age of 10 and strongly values the strength and differences of all people. back |

Maureen Royer joined the Chrysalis Charitable Foundation Board and was appointed Secretary in 2010.
Maureen was employed by Chrysalis Edmonton since 1993 in a number of different roles over the years. The foundation welcomes her years of experience in Communications, Fund Development and Public Relations. She left Chrysalis prior to joining the board to focus her energy on restructuring the family business.
Maureen's work in the community includes the Eagles Hockey Association Board member and volunteering for the Royal Alexandra Hospital, the Mustard Seed Church, and Santa's Anonymous.

| |  | Garth Norris (Edmonton) Garth first joined the Chrysalis Society Board in June 2003 and served as Board Chair from 2004 2009, leaving in 2009 upon completion of his six-year term. He returned to the Board in 2010 following the mandatory year absence. He has over 30 years experience in the field of communications and public relations, working in both government and the private sector. Since 2000 he has partnered in the operation of Downey Norris & Associates Inc., an Edmonton-based communications consulting company providing numerous consulting services to a broad range of national and international private sector companies, municipal, provincial and federal government departments and agencies, and non-profit organizations. Prior to entering private practice in June 2000, Garth also held a variety of Communications positions with Alberta Health and Wellness, Alberta Education, the Alberta Department of Seniors; the federal governments Western and Northern Canada Region of Environment Canada and Canada Post. With his Bachelors of Applied Communications from Mount Royal in Calgary, Andrew has employed his communications and public relations skills for a wide array of employers and volunteer organizations over the last decade plus. Currently Andrew works as corporate communications counsel and aides public consultation efforts in the energy sector. Despite having been raised in Calgary, Andrew married his wife Jennifer, a native Edmontonian, and is now proud to call Edmonton home. back |
| |  | Chris Yatscoff (Edmonton) Chris joined the Chrysalis Society Board in 2010. Chris is a Senior Analyst in Deloitte & Touche LLPs Financial Advisory Services group in Edmonton. He works primarily in providing corporate finance and valuation services to life science and health care organizations. Chris past experience also includes assisting clients with corporate strategic plans, change management initiatives and assurance services to not for profit entities. Chris graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce and has a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan. Chris is near completion of his Chartered Accountant designation and is currently pursuing a Chartered Business Valuator designation. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his fianc and participating in several sports. back |
