Since 1975, Chrysalis has operated a business division in Edmonton. It all started with our Plastics Division which was created as a way to supplement our Society's funding to increase the quality of programs and services offered to adults with disabilities throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
With the success of the Plastics Division, a Woods Division was added in 1985. With both a woods and plastics division operating out of Chrysalis Edmonton, we were able to broaden the number of products we could produce and reach a larger amount of customers throughout Alberta and neighbouring Provinces. Our products range anywhere from plastic drink containers to large wooden shipping pallets. A full list of products, including descriptions, will be coming soon.
The mission of the Chrysalis Business Division is "to operate with ethical business practices, respect the environment, the safety of employees and honour the ideals of the Chrysalis Society mission statement". As such, a portion of every dollar sold is directed towards enhancing our programs and services for citizens with disabilities.
Over the years, Chrysalis has produced a number of high quality products at very competitive prices.
