How does hiring Chrysalis-trained workers help my business?
A:
Provides diversity. You’re getting individuals with a unique set of skills willing and a genuine desire to contribute in a meaningful way.

What services do Chrysalis-trained workers offer businesses?
A: Chrysalis provides a job shadow which provides your business with an opportunity to see the individual at work before placing them in the employment position; it last for one to two days. A work experience job shadow allows for more training over an extended period of time. Chrysalis also provides follow up support if required to ensure a success partnership between the employee and your business.

Workman’s Compensation Board (WCB) Coverage
A: During the training period, WCB is covered by Chrysalis. If your business decides to hire the individual than you are required WCB coverage

Is there a pay subsidy to my business when hiring a potential employee through Chrysalis?
A:
No. Following the interview if the individual is determined suitable for the position, they are hired at least a minimum

What are the expectations of my business when hiring a person with disabilities?
A:
Depending on the individual hired and what tasks they are required to perform, additional time for training will be provided with support from Chrysalis staff.
